Do I have any obligation to hire a contractor after I list my project?

However, it does cost each contractor money and time to meet with you and prepare plans, and with this in mind we would appreciate your honesty with your intent during the submission of your project request.
You need to start your shopping somewhere and if you're in the very early stages with no intent to hire for quite some time, you are probably in the “Quote for budgeting” stage which would most likely be approached by contractors via phone and e-mail of pictures, plans etc. Please select this check box when you fill out the details of your project.
